INLAND EMPIRE – It’s more power for the Inland region.

Seven neighborhood solar power installations will be switched on Tuesday. That will bring to ten the number of projects cranking out the megawatts from the rooftops of distribution warehouses in the Metro area.

Southern California Edison’s Gil Alexander says they’re just getting started.

“Edison’s plan is to develop up to 100 of these neighborhood solar power plants throughout our region. It is a rapid way, and less-expensive, to deploy more solar energy to which Edison is fully committed.”

Switch-on ceremonies Tuesday will be at ProLogis-owned buildings in Ontario and Redlands. (INT)
